Kochill is a small hostel located in the popular tourist destination of Fort Kochi in the southern Indian state of Kerala. Although it is within walking distance to tourist spots, it is a quiet place where you can feel nature.

A traveler’s hideout is situated at the end of a small path from the main street. The surrounding area is blessed with greenery
and you can see a variety of wildlife that visit there.

This is the best hostel. Babu and Kurumi are so sweet and welcoming, they even let me chill in the communal area on a travel day. So nice to chat to and they make the place feel very homely.

The hostel is spotless and well equipped, beds are comfortable and it feels very calm and safe. There is a kitchen where Kurumi cooks and you can have coffee and tea. There is also free water.

Will definitely be back in the future and would recommend to anyone. STAY HERE !

Kochill was a delight. Babu, the owner, is super helpful -- we are on a cycling trip across South India and he helped us out a ton by storing our bicycles for a week! The hostel is chill, kochi is awesome, and I can't wait to come back.
Not a party hostel when we were there - definitely a place for more laid back people which I loved. He has a lot of books at the hostel, Babu used to own a book stall, and I feel the place has that vibe.

My friends and I had a lovely time and stayed here for 5 nights. The owners are extremely sweet and this was one of the cleanest hostels I’ve stayed in in India. The food was delicious and the location is perfect - central but quiet. Thanks!

Really nice stay! Big room, bed and bathroom. Good ventilated and protected from mosquitos.

U can ejoy the carden or the terrace too. Also the ubication is really good to enjoy Fort Kochi.

This place deserves an honest review, so I don’t get all the high rating on Agoda 9.4 ridiculous just because the couple that run the place are super friendly does not mean it’s a comfortable place, so yes Kurumi is a great cook and we had a lovely dinner upstairs in the common area.
She was also kind enough to move us to a bigger room as they had no guests but the mattress was super uncomfortable and it was hardly what I consider a pillow my bones hurt, the bathroom smelt bad and the exhaust fan was noisy it had hot water but the water pressure was a joke, barely there. The room was dark even with the lights on! The internet wasn’t great in the room it kept cutting off! If we had read honest reviews we would booked elsewhere

I traveled here with my best friend, we struggled to find a place we both liked. We went to sooo many homestays before finding Kochill. It was perfect for our budget, in such a great location, and Babu was so so kind to us. I definitely recommend for people hoping to relax ???????? also the rooftop is a plus!! We used it for yoga and chilling. One of my fave stays in India!

Such a beautiful and loving place to stay. I have travelled a lot and stayed at many homestays and this by far was one of the kindest ones. Our host was so kind and giving, we were allowed to check out whenever we wanted which was super nice. There is a beautiful rooftop where you can practice yoga, play cards, read books. The host was super friendly and told us stories about Kerala. He also recommended amazing spots to see and eat. Thank you so much!! ????????there is a lovely kitchen with free drinking water too

I loved Kochill and will definitely be back. It is just as it sounds, very chill. The rooftop is a great place to hang out, the food was good, and the room was as advertised. Staff were very welcoming and super interesting! Babu was very helpful in arranging activities and giving advice. It isn't in the heart of Fort Kochi but it is a short, fun walk.

We really, really loved this spot. Walkable to everything, but just tucked away enough that you experience the quiet. The rooms were perfectly clean, and Babu was extremely helpful and attentive. This place is a gem, and we would easily come back.

We stayed 3 nights here in the family dorm which we had to ourselves.
Working lockers and AC in the room, the amenities, room and whole place was clean! Lovely owners. Nice netted seating area outside the kitchen. Delicious food (we only tried the breakfast but the banana pancakes were so tasty!). Great location with Fort Kochi within walking distance. Quiet and, as the name suggests, chilled atmosphere. Would 100% recommend staying here
